On may 28, 1431 a zealous male admirer of the condemned joan of arc fell into despair. Moved by her bravery, conviction, and her righteous spirit, he made a final gesture of his love. He broke her out of prison and gave his friends instructions to take her somewhere safe, not telling them his full plan. he dressed himself in drag and made himself up to look like joan, and stayed in prison. “She doesn’t love me anyway,” he thought, “and shes too great to die now.” On may 30 1431, he died in her place with a make shift cross on the front of his dress.
Joan, at age 19, migrated to the turkish area. Here she established an orphanage for young girls. She shaved all of the orphans heads and gave them male names. She dressed them as boys and taught their hands to war so they might save themselves from the darkness that often befell orphan girls at that time.
One young african girl with incorruptible joy and optimism towered above all the others in fighting ability. She was very aggressive and very silly. Her name is kurt. She has no fear, no doubt, and no sadness. In 1465 the house mistress, joan of arc died and the orphanage dispersed. Kurt was 7.
she met the legendary crimson flood and porcupine when she was 8. she was immediately impressed by their superhuman skill and insisted that crimson flood was now her master. This provided him with some much needed amusement. He quickly discovered that kurt was in her own league.
Kurt has a kind and loving nature, but killing is second nature to her.
She considers both crimson flood and porcupine family. She and porcupine, along with their mentor the "crimson flood", were accidentally transported to the future from the 1400's while in pursuit of the mysterious creature known only as methuselah.

porcupine is a mongolian girl from a distant past. She watched her family slaughtered when she was 6. the man who killed them also took her captive and forced her to be a mercenary.her capture was the crimson flood whom was hired to burn her village down. It was crimson floods personal conviction never to leave any survivors, because he was left a survivor, a fatal error for the man who killed his parents and torched his village.
Crimson flood recognized that he did to porcupine exactly what methuselah did to him. He wasted his whole life hunting down and preparing to kill methuselah. he was ashamed to be the monster methuselah was, so he took the six year old, trained her to the best of his ability and kept her near so she wouldnt waste her life seeking him out for revenge. The crimson flood only fanned her flame at first, making sure her drive for vengeance never dwindled, but over time he and porcupine have developed a tolerance for each other. In 1466 they met kurt the down.
Crimson flood was a legend in his time.he'd been known to defeat entire armies single handedly. At age 12 porcupine's power is about equal to his. She is very quiet and sarcastic. she has a dark and angry nature and she never smiles, though she's developed a tolerance, yea even a slight fondness for kurt the down.
