ralph is an aspiring young warrior born and raised on the australian continent. he shows his academic leaders great promise. he excels in both magical and technical disciplines. he has a natural talent for true magic, but his acquired skills are physics, chemistry and biology. his late father was a very prominent doctor and engineer, so ralph has made it his goal to master all the earth's sciences and close the hole in australia's sky.
ralph is a great mage but it's mostly just natural talent. most true mages on the australian continent only learn 6-9 spells in their entire life time and never come up with any original spells. ralph already knows 4 spells, 2 of which are his own creations.
he is alienated by his peers at school because his adult frame of mind makes him seem weird and nerdy. he'd be a loner except for a handful of snot nosed nerds who he occasionally debates "geekology" with. in his p.e. class, he's the top martial artist, but he doesn't focus on hand to hand combat.
his dad died protecting the people when ralph was 8 years old. he is very close to his mother, and his mother has complete faith in him. he hangs out with a giant triceratops "trey c", who came from the dream world / the world of minds.
ralph has a thing for older women and he's a breast man. after meeting "slughand" and being influenced by his baser nature, he and "slughand" go on a few "top secret spying" missions. ralph even teaches "slughand" an invisibility spell to aide him in the endeavor. ralph is a shy kid and appears innocent, so he never gets caught. "slughand" is reckless and almost always gets caught.
ralph is focused and he has a one-track-mind. he doesn't accept defeat help nor advice. he doesn't work well with others. he always accepts any real challenge and often bites off more than he can chew. failure kills his spirit. he never lets go of his past mistakes and blames only himself when his friends get hurt. he hates himself for needing ahnti and "slughand" in battle. he's ashamed of not being the mightiest being in the world and he doesn't acknowledge any allies.
ralph is deeply empathic and cannot allow any form of victimization to unfold in his presence... just like his dad.
